The Atlantic islands government of Turks and Caicos has acquired a fleet of five Robinson helicopters for police missions. The helicopters, which will be operated by Silver State Helicopters of the United States, are equipped with a forward-looking infrared sensor, siren, police radios, and a 15-million candlepower searchlight. They are to be used in fighting crime and illegal immigration, as well as mosquito abatement, search and rescue and medical air services.
