Russia and Uzbekistan Sign Agreement

Russia and Uzbekistan have signed an agreement establishing a joint venture to repair combat helicopters. As part of the agreement, announced by Russia's Federal Industry Agency, Russian companies will have a 51 percent share in the joint venture, scheduled to begin later this year. The aim is to repair Mi-8 Hip and Mi-24 Hind helicopters, their modifications as well as the components and assembly parts. Bilateral trade has increased between the two countries since last year and has increased by 30 percent. For related news
