Flight School Opens in East Africa

East Africa now has its first helicopter flight school targeted at civilian pilots, according to East Africa Business Week. It said Akagera Aviation opened the school at Kigali International Airport in Kanombe, on the outskirts of the capitol city of Kigali in Rwanda. The school reportedly has 20 students—15 studying for their private pilot licenses and five studying for their commercial pilot licenses. Students are trained on the Robinson Helicopter R44 Raven 2.  For related news
