Eurocopter said it booked sales of more than 20 aircraft worth $100 million at the 2007 Air Medical Transport Conference in Tampa, Fla.

In addition to Dallas, Texas-based Med-Trans Corp.’s order for eight EC135s and options on eight more, the manufacturer’s American Eurocopter unit booked several orders.

Omniflight agreed to acquire five more EC135s. Earlier in the year, it committed to take 24 AS350B3s and one EC135. Founded in 1962, Addison, Texas-based Omniflight has grown into one of the leading providers of air medical services. It operates a fleet of more than 70 helicopters.

Airlift Northwest ordered four EC145s to expand its mission capability and upgrade its fleet. Airlift Northwest serves one of the largest and most geographically varied service areas in the world — from southeast Alaska to coastal villages in western Washington and central Washington.

REACH Air Medical Services purchased two EC135s. The Northern California operator picked the aircraft as the new light twin component of its fleet modernization.

Cook Children’s Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas ordered one EC145.
