By Staff Writer | December 1, 2007

Texas Aviation Services has delivered the second in a series of three Bell Helicopter 412EPs to Helicol. The Bogota, Colombia-based operator is using the 412EPs, the first of which TAS delivered in August, to transport BP personnel to remote and otherwise inaccessible locations throughout Colombia. The third is to be delivered this month. Fort Worth, Texas-based TAS is fitting the 412s with wirestrike protection, flight directors, cargo hook systems, provisions for Bambi Buckets, health and usage monitoring systems, radar altimeters, and Bendix King Radar RDR 2000s. TAS also provided custom paint inside and out, custom corporate leather interiors, and Aft Audio.
