Pratt & Whitney Canada has launched a fleet management program designed to meet the engine maintenance needs of helicopter customers.
The new program is intended to offer those customers a combination of cost stability and simplicity. Customers pay a guaranteed rate tailored to their operating environments. The program, which also covers spare engines, ensures no re-calculations within a range of flight conditions, said Maria Della Posta, P&WC’s vice president of customer support. The program "demonstrates our strong commitment to develop innovative, dependable solutions that speak directly to what our customers tell us they need."
The program is part of a P&WC campaign "to ensure that support is flawless," she said. The company also has reorganized customer support to provide a single point of contact for operators with an engine problem and speed resolution of that problem.
