Kimberly Kenville has been named graduate program director of the University of North Dakota’s Aviation Dept. An associate professor at the John D. Odegard School of Aerospace Sciences, she will be responsible for curriculum development, maintaining and establishing corporate partnerships and development of research opportunities.
Standard Aero has appointed Scott Taylor as business aviation business development leader, based in Tempe, Ariz. He will be responsible for developing a sustainable long-term strategy for the business aviation sector and for creating innovative approaches to growing existing products and services. He previously managed sales and marketing operations for Honeywell Aerospace and most recently was general manager of business and regional aviation marketing for General Electric Aviation.
Igor Hulak has succeeded Peter Ondro as president of Aero Vodochody a.s., the aviation manufacturer in the Czech Republic owned 100 percent by the private equity group Penta.
Peter Obermark has been elected chairman of the board of directors of ESG Elektroniksystem-und Logistik-GmbH. Manfred Fleischmann, managing director of Rohde & Schwarz GmbH und Co. KG, was elected as Obermark’s deputy. ESG is a subsidiary of four companies. EADS Deutschland GmbH, Rohde & Schwarz and Thales Defence Deutschland each hold 30 percent, while 10 percent is held by Litef GmbH.
Hawker Pacific has named Steve Siddall its new GM in New Zealand. Siddall has years of experience in aviation logistics management and maintenance and engineering support. In 2004, Hawker Pacific acquired Wing and Rotor Ltd and was subsequently appointed as the sole sales rep for Bell Helicopters for New Zealand. Shadin Avionics appointed Kelly Linnell to the position of customer service manager. Linnell will oversee and manage customer service, and is tasked with developing and managing support programs for customers in government, OEM and the aftermarket.
Eric Alden has been named director, customer support for Eaton’s Aerospace Operations and will have functional reporting responsibility for all division-level customer service and aftermarket business worldwide.
Turbomeca appointed the following: Philippe Couteaux as VP and GM, airframers; Didier Desnoyer as VP and GM, operators; Eric Dalbiès as VP, chairman’s office; Laurent Delange as VP, quality; Philippe Larrauri as VP, assembly and repair operations; Serge Maillé as VP, customer support and sales; and Pierre-Yves Morvan as VP, supply chain, purchasing and information systems.
