LA Helicopters Moves to LGB Airport

By Staff Writer | October 28, 2008

Los Angeles Helicopters has moved from its previous base of operation at Long Beach Airport (LGB) into a two-story, 12,000-sq-ft facility also on the airport. LAH’s new home is styled like an FBO, and now has much more office, hangar, ramp, lounge and classroom space than its previous location. The key feature, according to CEO Michael Rogers, is their underground fuel farm, which eliminates the need to wait for an airport-operated fuel truck. The company, which was founded in 2000, provides charter, air taxi and aerial photography services. It is also an authorized sales and service center for Robinson Helicopters. For related news
