More U.S. Helicopters to Afghanistan

The U.S. Army’s 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade out of Fort Bragg, N.C. is going back to Afghanistan next year. Nearly 2,800 soldiers from the unit will support NATO’s International Security Assistance Force. The soldiers will fly 89 helicopters including 18 AH-64 Apaches and 24 OH-58D Kiowa Warriors and 30 UH-60 Black Hawks. Their missions will include attack, air assault, transportation and medevac.  For related news
