By Staff Writer | March 2, 2009

Euroheli, Eurocopter’s distributor in Japan, has signed a deal with the Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Forces to build and deliver two EC135 helicopters for the Naval Training School of Kanoya. A second contract for three additional helicopters is forthcoming with a final total of 15 of the twin-engine aircraft expected in the future. All will be tailored for advanced training missions with the first two scheduled for delivery late this year. Japan’s military already operates other Eurocopter products in the form of three EC225s for VIP transport. For additional info
