Textron Signs Deal for Iraq Helos

Attack, Emergency Medical Service, Observation/Patrol, Search and Rescue

The company received a $60.3-million U.S. Army contract to supply 24 Bell Armed 407s to Iraq, with an option for 26 more. The Army is acting as the middleman under the Pentagon’s Foreign Military Sales program. The initial 24 helicopters will be produced during the next three years and the remaining 26, if exercised, will take a little more than one year. For related news
