RAF Pilot Shortage

It’s no secret that the European Union is in desperate need for more helos in order to help fight the War on Terrorism. However, the latest news is that the RAF is also in need of pilots to fly those birds. The U.K.’s Ministry of Defence statistics show that there are only 360 helicopter pilots, 43 short of its requirement. The shortages include Puma, Merlin, Chinook and Sea King pilots. The shortage of helicopters and pilots have already raised the number of those killed in action. For related news
