Sikorsky Used to Train

By Staff Writer | June 19, 2009

Kent State University, in Ohio, will begin teaching a helicopter-training course using two S-300CBis. The university's College of Technology now offers private, commercial, certified flight instructor and certified flight instructor instrument ratings. The university connected with local EMS units and is also in communication with U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force ROTC programs, in the hopes of forming a joint collaboration program in the future. With more than 75 students entering the pilot training program each year, the industry will hopefully see a new infusion of talent. For related news
