Pratt & Whitney Canada’s Customer Service Center Europe has reached separate agreements to support the Netherlands Police Agency (KLPD) and add Motorflug to its recognized maintenance facility (RMF) network. Under the contract with KLPD, the engines on the unit’s Eurocopter EC135s and AgustaWestland AW139s will join Pratt & Whitney’s fleet management program (FMP). Twelve PW206B2s that power six EC135s and four PT6-67Cs on two AW139s are involved in the 10-year fleet contract.
Motorflug has facilities in Baden-Baden, Rheinmuenster and Schoenhagen. The Pratt & Whitney RMF designation applies to PT6T and PW200 series engines at Baden-Baden. In addition to helicopter airframe, engine and component maintenance, Motorflug supplies flight training, spare parts and mobile service teams. CSC Europe is a joint venture of Pratt & Whitney and Germany’s MTU Aero Engines.
