Textron subsidiary SkyBOOKS has obtained a contract to supply maintenance tracking services for Heliservicio and Servicio Tecnico Aereo de Mexico (STAM)’s fleet of helicopters. The Jacksonville, Fla.-based Bell affiliate expects to have the tracking equipment and software operational on the Heliservicio helicopters by the end of 2009.

In addition to maintenance tracking, SkyBOOKS will provide on-site management and employee training, flight operations and crew scheduling support, document archiving for logbooks, records, tags and supplemental type certificate (STC) data, and minimum equipment list (MEL) tracking and recording. Mexico City-based Heliservicio’s fleet of 40 aircraft flies more than 4,000 hours each month, carrying around 100,000 passengers.
