The British Army has received the first four modified Lynx Mk.9A helicopters from AgustaWestland. The Army Air Corps will use three of the four helicopters for training at its Dishforth base in Yorkshire. Next year, the Mk.9A fleet will begin supporting British and allied forces in Afghanistan. The current delivery schedule calls for three more helicopters in April 2010, with the final batch arriving in September 2010.
