Houston-based Bristow Group has announced “fundamental structural changes” to its operating units, according to President & CEO William Chiles. The restructuring, designed to “increase efficiencies and boost financial performance,” involves managing eastern and western hemisphere divisions under a single global unit, merging other international and Latin American divisions into one entity, and combining Gulf of Mexico and Arctic divisions under a North American business unit. The company is also creating one organization to support finance, accounting, IT and human resources.
Bristow recently took delivery of two AgustaWestland AW139s that will serve in the offshore transport role. AgustaWestland handed over the helicopters during a Dec. 15 ceremony at its North Philadelphia Airport (PNE) facility in Pennsylvania.
