Eurocopter Vostok has appointed a new president and CEO—Laurence Rigolini. The Eurocopter Group subsidiary provides sales and support in Russia and CIS countries in the region. A 20-year employee of Eurocopter, she formerly served as corporate communications vice president for Eurocopter Group.
The manufacturer has also named Matthieu Louvot (at right) vice president and head of corporate strategy and company development.
Previously an adviser to the French President for industry, energy and transportation, Louvot replaces Andreas Loewenstein at Eurocopter Group.
Bell Helicopter has hired Robert Hastings as senior vice president of communications. He will work from Bell’s headquarters in Fort Worth, Texas, reporting to President & CEO John Garrison.
A commercial helicopter pilot with ratings in military and civil aircraft, Hastings was previously vice president of communications for Northrop Grumman’s Information Systems division. Other past experience includes working as a senior public affairs official and principal spokesman for the U.S. Department of Defense and vice president of communications for BAE Systems.
Fargo, N.D.-based Appareo Systems has appointed Jerry Stromberg as account executive. He has 25 years of experience working for aerospace and software companies, including at Hughes Aircraft and Oracle Corp.
Broomfield, Colo.-based Aircell has promoted John Wade to executive vice president and general manager of its Business Aviation Services division. Before joining Aircell in 2008, Wade was chief technical officer and general manager at OnAir.
