Russian Helicopters and AgustaWestland have started construction on a 430,550-square-foot (40,000-square-meter) AW139 assembly plant in Tomilino, which is near Moscow. The complex will produce more than 20 helicopters each year by 2015, starting with five AW139s annually in 2011. HeliVert, a joint venture of AgustaWestland and Russian Helicopters, will run the facility, which will support more than 100 jobs.
