SAS Buys LifePort

Sikorsky Aerospace Services (SAS) has agreed to purchase Woodland, Wash.-based LifePort Inc., an aircraft accessories supplier that specializes in EMS, armor and interior equipment for both helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft. LifePort also has branches in Georgetown and Plano, Texas. Plans call for the company to retain its name while functioning under the SAS umbrella. (From August 2010 Rotorcraft Report)
