Anthony DiNota is the new vice president of commercial sales, marketing and customer support for American Eurocopter. He was previously president and chief operating officer at OmniFlight Helicopters. DiNota will lead the company’s Commercial Sales, Marketing and Customer Support division, which has also seen the recent promotion of Rich Gross to senior director of commercial sales. Jane Tischler also recently joined the division as director of supply services.

AAR Corp. subsidiary Aviation Worldwide Services (AWS) has appointed Steve Peckham as general manager of STI Aviation, which supplies helicopter and fixed-wing maintenance and modifications. He comes from AAR’s Government and Defense Services group, where he was vice president of U.S. Army and rotorcraft programs. AWS has also named Thomas Howell vice president of quality and safety, and Joseph Ford general manager of its Presidential Airways subsidiary.

EMS Aviation has hired Clifford Topham (left) as vice president of sales and marketing, and Dan Monahan (right) as VP of finance. Topham comes from Rolls-Royce, where he worked in its sales and business development segment. He is also a former director of sales and customer support for International Aero Engines. Monahan was previously vice president of finance planning and analysis at CDC Software Corp. Both will be based at the Atlanta headquarters of parent company EMS Technologies.


Don Wilson, flight paramedic for Addison, Texas-based Omniflight Helicopters, has received the Paramedic of the Year award from East Alabama Region II. Wilson works with Omniflight subsidiary Alabama LifeSaver in Rainbow City, Ala. He is also an EMS supervisor for the Gadsden Fire Department.
