Two new online podcasts and supporting white papers are now available through Rotor & Wing’s parent website, Rotor & Wing Editor-in-Chief Joy Finnegan moderates a discussion with Aviation Specialties Unlimited (ASU) President Mike Atwood in “Night Vision Goggle Classification: Myths and Misconceptions.” Topics addressed during the podcast include the difference in Class A, B and C goggles, FAA-approved cockpit modifications and supplemental type certificates (STCs). Atwood sheds further light on the subject in a white paper, “The Origins of Classifications: Dispelling the Myths of Night Vision Classifications.
