Mi-38 Performs Initial Long-Haul

Russian Helicopters has completed the first long-haul flight of the Mi-38. The second prototype helicopter flew 800 km (497 miles) from Kazan to Moscow, arriving at the Mil Moscow Helicopter Plant for continued testing. The prototype features Pratt & Whitney Canada PW127 engines and IBKO-38 avionics from Tranzas.
