Army Orders Arrowhead Sensors

Lockheed Martin has secured a $15-million U.S. Army contract to supply its VNsight low-light-level TV capability for the Boeing Apache's Arrowhead modernized target acquisition designation sight/pilot night vision sensor (M-TADS/PNVS). The Lot 1 contract covers 65 VNsight sensors and spares for two Apache battalions. Lockheed Matin’s Missile and Fire Control division will produce the VNsight lens and its Akron, Ohio-based Mission Systems and Sensors unit will supply the camera.
