Night Flight Concepts, in partnership with aerospace physiology consulting firm Delta P, has created a website that serves as a resource for educational material surrounding hand-held laser pointers being shined into the cockpits of low-flying helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft. Launched during last week’s Airborne Law Enforcement Association (ALEA) Conference, laserstrikeprotection.com provides laser incident training, protective equipment and safety programs. The effort also aims to increase awareness of the danger of laser strikes for both military and civil aviation.
