Cleveland, Ohio-based Eaton Corp. has assisted Bell Helicopter in supporting the Australian Army’s fleet of 206B1 Kiowas, which topped 60,000 operational hours in April 2011. Eaton, which supplies components for the Australian Army helicopters, has been involved in a variety of missions, including response to large-scale flooding in Queensland earlier this year. In a separate agreement with Sikorsky Aircraft, Eaton will provide hydraulic pumps, reservoir and valves for the S-97 Raider. Eaton, which provided similar components for the X2 Technology demonstrate, will provide fuel lines, pumps, hydraulic system components, hardware and engineering support for two prototype S-97s.
