USAF Orders CV-22 Training Upgrades

Bell Boeing’s V-22 program has been awarded a $34-million U.S. Air Force contract for new CV-22 trainers and upgrades to existing trainers. The contract calls for three new full-fuselage cabin operational flight trainers (COFTs) and a new wing part task trainer. One of the COFTs will be crafted from a CV-22 cabin part task trainer (CPTT) and two fuselage aircrew/maintenance trainers.
