Helitech Duxford to Host HFDM Workshop

The Global Helicopter Flight Data Monitoring (HFDM) Steering Group, an international consortium of helicopter operators, manufacturers, operators and providers, will hold a day-long workshop as part of Helitech Duxford 2011, set for September 27 to 29. Steering Group co-chair, Mike Pilgrim with CHC Helicopters, will present an overview of what HFDM is and how it can improve safety. The workshop will feature case studies on operators that have added flight data monitoring to their safety management system (SMS) programs. PHI’s Jared Simon will also cover the latest HFDM equipment and software available on the market.
