Air Force Holds CSAR Exercise

Rotor & Wing contributor Shannon Bower took part in Operation Angel Thunder last week, a U.S. Air Force training exercise involving various combat search and rescue (CSAR) units. Held from October 18 to 21, the exercise featured insertions, extractions and a number of other CSAR training scenarios. Look for the full story in the December issue of Rotor & Wing.
