PAG Introduces Rotorcraft Services Division

By Staff Writer | February 10, 2012

Atlanta-based Precision Aviation Group (Booth 4110) has established a new company from its Gardner Aviation Services subsidiary. Rotorcraft Services Division (RSD) will offer helicopter avionics upgrades, airframe maintenance and repair/overhaul services at the 35,000-square-foot Gardner facility at Peachtree City Airport.

PAG President & CEO David Mast noted that similar to its other segments, the company wanted to “differentiate the rotary wing from the fixed-wing business. Helicopter [operator] requirements are typically different from those of their fixed-wing counterparts.” When Precision acquired Gardner in March 2011, he continued, the company "knew that it wanted to expand the number of helicopters that GAS serviced.”
