EADS North America has restructured its senior leadership to better serve its U.S. market growth. Mike Cosentino has been named as senior vice president for operations and will oversee EADS North America’s seven branches of business, serving capture efforts, programs, quality control and technology development. Sam Adcock will move into Cosentino’s prior role as senior vice president for strategy and business development. Adcock was previously the senior vice president for government relations. Guy Hicks, the current vice president for corporate communications and public relations, will take on government relations as well as his current responsibilities. Hicks will lead outreach efforts to the U.S. government and external marketing and communications in his newly expanded role. Paul Pastorek has also received an expanded role as chief administrative office in addition to his chief counsel and corporate secretary duties. Pastorek is tasked with overseeing all legal matter for the company. Xavier Tardy will replace Philippe Balducchi as senior vice president of finance for both EADS North American and Airbus Americas. Tardy will assume the position effective March 1. David Fink has been selected to fill the role of chief human resources officer and finally, David Oliver has been named as the strategic advisor for mergers/acquisitions. This newly established position will serve as the U.S. center for analysis of expansion opportunities in North America.
Fargo, N.D.-based Spectrum Aeromed has hired Ricky Reno as vice president and account representative of military and government initiatives. Reno will be in charge of global sales and serving government and military programs. Reno, a former helicopter pilot, was previously the sales director for Heli-One and the sales manager and technical training director for Keystone Helicopter Corporation, respectively.
Finmeccanica’s Board of Directors named former AgustaWestland CEO Giuseppe Orsi (left) chairman and CEO during 2011. He replaces Pier Francesco Guarguaglini, who has served as chairman and CEO for the company since 2002. COO Alessandro Pansa was also elected as a board member for Finmeccanica.
The National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) recently appointed EADS North America CEO Sean O’Keefe as its chairman. The association currently has more than 90,000 members within the defense and national security sectors. O’Keefe has been chief executive of EADS North America since 2009.
Bell Helicopter hired Michael Andersen as vice president and program director of the Bell-Boeing V-22 program during 2011. Andersen will lead Bell’s involvement for all Bell-Boeing Program Office (BBPO) decisions and initiatives.
