Boeing to Supply Blade Tooling for Advanced Chinook

The U.S. Army’s Contracting Command at Redstone Arsenal has issued a $37.2-million contract for rotor blade tooling on the Advanced Chinook program. The agreement, which includes engineering services, calls for work to take place at Boeing’s facility in Ridley Park, Pa. Completion is scheduled for November 2015. Boeing has also inked an $81.1-million extension of an existing Army contract covering additional CH-47Fs intended for the foreign military sales (FMS) program.
