Air Medical Holdings Group has placed an order for 30 Bell 407GX and 206L4 helicopters. The two companies did not detail the number for each type, but reports indicate a breakdown of 24 407GXs and six 206L4s. During a press conference at Heli-Expo announcing the order, Bell President and CEO John Garrison also updated attendees about the company’s Relentless 525 program, which is on track to make its first flight in 2014. He also unveiled the new Bell 407GT, an armed variant of the 407GX, which features Garmin G1000H avionics.
