Canadian training provider Bailey Helicopters has incorporated an Elite Evolution S623 advanced aviation training device (AATD) at its facility in Fort St. John, BC. The helicopter simulator, modeled around the Eurocopter AS350B, will train pilots in a number of rotorcraft-specific scenarios, including autorotations, retreating blade stalls and loss of tail rotor thrust, as well as preparing for emergency situations and crew resource training. Bailey operates a fleet of 24 helicopters, consisting of Bell, Eurocopter and Robinson variants.
