Boston MedFlight has received the 2013 Vision Zero Aviation Safety Award, presented by American Eurocopter during the AMTC annual Community Awards banquet on October 21.
The non-profit air medical transport provider was selected for the award out of a “record-tying” list of 25 different nominees, according to Eurocopter. The award was created in 2007 to promote safety in the air medical industry, distributed to a program that highlights specific initiatives. A rotorcraft industry committee selects the winners.
