The U.S. Naval Air Systems Command has granted $86.8 million to Sikorsky Aircraft for two additional Lot II anti-submarine/anti-surface warfare S-70Bs for the Brazilian government. The purchase falls under the foreign military sales (FMS) program. The contract, which runs until June 2017, includes engineering, production, transportation, training and field support. Half the work will take place in West Palm Beach, Fla., while the other half will be split evenly between Sikorsky’s location in Troy, Ala. and the company’s headquarters in Stratford, Conn.
