Bell-Boeing Granted $26.6 Million V-22 Flight Test Award

The Bell-Boeing Joint Project Office, Amarillo, Texas, has received a $26.6-million cost-plus-fixed-fee for on-site flight test management, engineering and related work for the U.S. Naval Rotary Wing Aircraft Test Squadron regarding ongoing work on the V-22 Osprey.

The work will be carried out at three locations: Patuxent River Naval Air Station in Patuxent River, Md. (53 percent); Philadelphia, Pa. (32 percent); and Fort Worth, Texas (15 percent), and is expected to be completed in December 2014.
