Lockheed Martin has received a $60-million sustainment and support contract from AgustaWestland for the Modernized Target Acquisition Designation Sight/Pilot Night Vision Sensor (M-TADS/PNVS) system on the UK’s Boeing Apache AH Mk-1 aircraft. The contract includes in-country repairs, spares and technical services, as well as integrated logistics, engineering and depot repair support. The effort is part of the overall Integrated Operational Support solution for the U.K. Apache fleet provided by AgustaWestland to the UK Ministry of Defence. Support under the contract will continue through March 2019. The M-TADS/PNVS system provides Apache attack helicopter pilots with long-range, precision engagement and pilotage capabilities for mission success and flight safety in day, night and adverse weather missions.
