The U.S. Naval Systems Command has granted a contract worth $115.7 million to Sikorsky Aircraft related to the procurement of nine MH-60Rs for the Danish Defense Acquisition and Logistics Organization. The agreement covers engineering and program support for the helicopters. The payment, which is a firm-fixed-price delivery that follows a previous basic ordering agreement, falls under the foreign military sales (FMS) program. Sikorsky will carry out the majority of the work (estimated around 52 percent) at its headquarters in Stratford, Conn. The rest of the work will take place in West Palm Beach, Fla. (around 22 percent); and at numerous locations both outside (17 percent) and inside (9 percent) the continental United States. The contract runs through July 2018.
