MD Helicopters (MDHI) based in Mesa, Ariz., has added Precision Aviation Services (PAS) of Peachtree City, Ga., as the newest authorized service center for its line of turbine rotorcraft. A subsidiary of Precision Aviation Group (PAG), PAS becomes the 46th maintenance location for the estimated 2,500 MDHI aircraft currently in operation.
Customers are now able to obtain maintenance, parts, component overhauls and accessories for the complete line of MDHI aircraft from PAS, including support for the NOTAR-equipped MD520, MD600 and MD900/902 models. (NOTAR is MDHI’s no-tail-rotor technology, which uses the Coanda effect to counteract main rotor torque).
“As a PAG company, PAS is part of a network of companies supporting a global customer base,” said Adrienne Robinson, PAG’s vice president of business development. “MDHI, like PAG, strives to be close to customers wherever they are in order to provide the most efficient, high-value service. PAS is proud to support MDHI, a brand that has earned a solid reputation among a loyal and growing customer base.”
PAS, which already operates nine facilities throughout Australia, Canada and the U.S. for other models of aircraft, will provide MDHI factory-authorized service, parts and accessories, including parts and labor for warranty replacements. PAS technicians are also MDHI factory-trained, and will maintain a spare parts and specialized tools inventory to serve MDHI’s customers.
