The Mecaer Aviation Group (MAG) used a Bell 429 to debut its VVIP MAGnificent luxury cabin interior design at the annual Latin American Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition (LABACE) in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
On show for the first time in Latin America, Armando Sassoli, co-general manager of MAG said that the company remained “on schedule for an STC in January of 2015.” He believed that demand for the layout would be good for the region.
The interior incorporates the SILENS advanced noise abatement system to reduce cabin noise levels and the In-Flight Entertainment Enhanced Lounge (I-FEEL) entertainment system from Leaff Engineering.
This presents passengers with an interphone communication system (ICS) with collective and selective communications, a built-in hard disc to store audio and video files together with presentation systems that can incorporate moving maps, CD and MP3 players, iPods, a DVD player, laptop and camera.
The MAGnificent design includes USB ports along with an insulted drink container and access to storage through the center console.
