Bell Helicopter has appointed Matthew J. Hasik to the position of executive vice president, commercial business, succeeding Danny Maldonado who has been selected as president and CEO of Textron Financial.


Barry Kohler, president of Bell Helicopter Textron Canada since 2009, is now executive vice president, customer service and support, replacing Eric Cardinali who has been selected to lead global operations for Textron’s Kautex business unit.

David Bond has also joined Bell Helicopter’s European team as the regional sales manager responsible for overseeing sales activity in the UK and northern Europe. Bond has more than 12 years of experience in the aviation industry, and previously worked as a part of the sales and business development team at Bond Air Services, one of the largest providers of helicopter operations in the UK.


Other moves include John Klopfer returning as vice president, commercial business finance; Raymond Leduc replacing Kohler as president at Mirabel, Quebec, Canada; Patrick Moulay being promoted to vice president, global sales and marketing; and Larry Roberts taking over vice president, sales and marketing for the Bell 525 Relentless. All changes were effective Jan. 1, 2015.


ARGUS International has appointed Michael Volpe as the new regional sales manager for the Eastern United States and Eastern Canada. He will be responsible for selling ARGUS and Professional Resources in System Management (PRISM) SMS products and services in his region. Volpe has been in the aviation industry for more than 30 years, and has held positions with Eastern Airlines, Alitalia Airlines and Jet Aviation.
