Georgia-based Precision Aviation Services (PAS) has appointed Charles Carroll as its new director of operations. In his new position, Carroll will be responsible for the overall coordination of PAS’s fixed-wing, rotory-wing, and avionics upgrade and MRO operations, as well as the growth and development of avionics product sales in the Southeast region.

With more than 35 years of experience, Carroll brings extensive knowledge of avionics to his new position. Prior to joining PAS, he was the U.S. Southeast region marketing manager for Universal Avionics. He also worked in the corporate aviation market for many years managing avionics service and upgrades for flight departments such as Southern Jet Management and Stevens Aviation in Peachtree City, Georgia. As an entrepreneur for six years, Carroll owned and managed CC Avionics, Inc., which provided extensive experience modifying corporate aircraft.

“Charlie really understands the complexities of the systems of today’s Avionics products and solutions that customers require," said PAS President David Ford. "His skill and expertise are well-known and he is a respected and trusted advisor. We look forward to Charlie guiding and mentoring our staff and growing our avionics completion and system integration work at our facility here in Peachtree City. We are confident our customer base in the Southern U.S. will be well-served by the addition of Charlie to our team.”

Part of the PAG Group, PAS is a dealer for Honeywell, Universal Avionics, Rockwell Collins, Garmin, L3, Bendix King, ICG, Avidyne, Aspen and many other avionics OEMs.
