ASU Offers "Trade Up" for NVGs

By Staff Writer | July 15, 2015

Aviation Specialties Unlimited is offering a “trade-up” program that allows users of its green-phosphor night-vision goggles (NVGs) to upgrade to its white-phosphor NVGs. ASU said the white-phosphor devices reduce halo, increase contrast and enable pilots to get a clearer image. ASU recently celebrated its 20th anniversary. Established in 1995 to meet the growing demand for aviation night vision systems, the Boise, Idaho-based company has earned a reputation as a leading innovator in aviation night-vision imaging system design, including their manufacture, installation, certification, sales and service as well as training in their use.
