Whirly-Girls International is offering 17 scholarships for women in the helicopter industry this year. New scholarships this year include one for a helicopter instrument rating sponsored by Guidance Aviation in Prescott, Ariz.; another for a crew resource management (CRM) instructor course sponsored by Randy Mains, chief CRM/air medical resource management safety instructor at Oregon Aero based in Scappoose, Ore.; and a third, the Robert and Dayle Walden Memorial Scholarship. Other scholarships include one for the R22/R44 safety course sponsored by Robinson Helicopter and another for advanced mountain flight sponsored by Whirly-Girl No. 4 Nancy Livingston and Western Helicopters in Riverside, Calif., among others.
