Lockheed Martin Upgrades Sim Training Software

By Staff Writer | October 1, 2015

Lockheed Martin has updated to version three of its Prepar3D software—a full earth simulation platform with which users can develop aviation, maritime and ground training scenarios. The new version simplifies the training development process through a drag-and-drop tool, improves the user interface with expanded gauge and panel training, and adds a new avatar mode that enables users to experience simulated environments from either a third- or first-person perspective. Prepar3D was first launched in 2010, and it serves as the core of many of Lockheed Martin’s flight simulators.
