Report: Israel, US Agree on V-22 Deal Ahead of White House Meeting

The U.S. has agreed in principle to sell V-22s to Israel ahead of a Nov. 9 White House meeting between President Barack Obama and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, according to a report by The Times of Israel. Israel has long expressed an interest in acquiring the Bell-Boeing tiltrotor, the capabilities of which are being expanded by the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Air Force Special Operations Command.
