Sikorsky unveiled its new customer support zone Tuesday at Heli-Expo.
Sikorsky Vice President for Customer Support Joe Triompo told an audience at the company's expansive exhibit that the customer support zone is a number of customer support initiatives the company is unveiling as part of a goal to achieve excellence in customer service and keep customers flying.
Triompo said the new customer care center, located in Connecticut, will be the heart beat of customer support and the foundation of Sikorsky's continued movement to be more of a proactive and predictive service provider. The company, said Triomp, is positioning inventory close to customers and in forward-stocking locations, adding to its global regional support and advancing its products and services.
The 2016 Heli-Expo is Sikorsky's first as a division of Lockheed Martin.
