H+S Aviation said the test cell at its facility in Abu Dhabi has been successfully correlated by Pratt & Whitney Canada for the PW200- and PT6C-67-series engines.
The Abu Dhabi facility is the only OEM-designated provider for PW200, PW210 and PT6C-67 engines in the Middle East, said parent company BBA Aviation Global Engine Services' president and CEO, Peg Billson.
Billson said both H+S Aviation and Dallas Airmotive have been focused on expanding their rotorcraft engine capabilities to reach customers throughout the world. The companies have established a global rotorcraft engine network with authorizations to provide comprehensive service and support for the turbine engines powering a majority of the world’s helicopter fleet including P&WC’s PW200, PW210, P6TC-67 (supported by H+S Aviation only) and PT6T series engines; Rolls-Royce’s M250 and RR300 engines as well as GE’s CT7 and T700 engines. The network includes MRO centers in Dallas, Texas, Portsmouth, the U.K. and Abu Dhabi, as well as 10 regional turbine centers.
