Industry Veteran Joins HeliTrak as President

By Amy Kluber | June 9, 2016

HeliTrak has appointed Chris Nehls as president. Nehls joins the company from MD Helicopters, where he was VP of engineering and chief engineer. He was responsible for leading the engineering and development efforts on MD products.

Prior to that, he was at Honeywell International's aerospace unit for 19 years. HeliTrak develops avionics and safety systems that reduce helicopter pilot workload and recovery.

Nehls spent his early years assisting the design and development of advanced flight control systems for the AH-64 Apache at McDonnell Douglas. He also is a private pilot.
